Helicopters have a privileged place in Largo Winch's world. What could be more normal for the young man than sponsoring an historic edition of the "Heliventure" trek?
Saturday 14th July from Europe to America. Between the two, 7,000km of glacial sea and polar mountains. The HELIVENTURE trek helicopters take flight from Paris. This transatlantic adventure, organised for the centenary of the helicopter, lasts 9 days and is in six stages, for a total of 50 flying hours. The journey follows the Great North route, over Iceland, Greenland and Canada. Modern helicopters, like the Agusta A109, the squirrel (Eurocopter) or the Robinson 44 accompanied modern helicopters like the Alouette II. On their arrival, on the 24th July, the trek participants had the honour of opening the aerial meeting in Oshkosh, near Chicago, the biggest event of its kind in the world. To encourage the pilots, Largo Winch lent his image to the event's visuals. Here he is again at the centre of the high points of an unforgettable event.
